Malaysia-Thailand Vetiver Bioremediation (MYS-THA Vetiver BioR)

            As there are many lands which have formerly developed or used and currently not in full use even though it may be partially utilized can be categorized to be potentially degraded whereby nearly all of these areas could also be easily contaminated by various contaminants in both Malaysia and Thailand.

 

            With the support provided by the 2022 Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) under the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and administered by the U.S. Mission to ASEAN, the Malaysia-Thailand Vetiver Bioremediation (MYS-THA Vetiver BioR) project aims to increase awareness on soil degradation and propose the idea to promote soil regeneration and minimize the impacts of climate change while making the land usable for various purposes through phytoremediation.
